Winners of the 15th Sand Church Competition,
held on 4th August 2009:
Despite the conditions the Sand Church Contest
proceeded with many commenting, participants and spectators, that
they had thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The sun came out in the
afternoon but the rain arrived just as judging finished.

Disabled - Foy Family -

and to the left Di Chant, another tourist Association member. Under
the umbrella is Amanda Canby - Lewis of CADW and to the right is The
Very Rev. Jonathan Lean, Dean of St Davids and John Lloyd, Deputy
Mayor of St Davids, the three Judges for this year`s contest. |

Winners of the 13th Sand Church Competition, held on 19th August 2005:
Family - equal first were the
Smiths from Gloucester, the Handleys from Yorkshire and the Mitchells from
Hereford - the second time they have won the competition.
Groups - were Jessica and Joseph Singer from the Play Box Theatre,
Solihull, a youth theatre group.
Children - Joshua Malyen from Uxbridge
